Starting in September of 2017, Apricity’s project management department began an internal team-building set of workshops based on the Myers Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI) Assessment. MBTI is a personality preference framework that helps people understand themselves and others. These sessions started with an orientation to the MBTI. Through a series of interactive activities and games, participants came to understand the MBTI history and purpose. The second session explored each person’s individual type through the lens of strengths, weaknesses, and stress management. During this workshop, participants better understood how they are energized, how they gather information, how they make decisions, and how they approach the world. The third session focused on how to work with others using their knowledge of MBTI. This session was aimed at improving teamwork and relationships with supervisors, employees and customers.
Because Apricity Resources employs professionals who are certified to administer the Myers Briggs Type Indicator® Assessment, we are excited to begin offering that service to other companies. Building upon individual assessments, our entertaining and interactive sessions provide a fresh spin on this time-tested tool. MBTI is the most trusted and widely utilized personality inventory in the world that is used for understanding differences and how to bridge them.
Our workshops can be introduced into an organization to support many functions and situations including managing others, development of leadership skills, conflict resolutions, executive coaching, change management, and diffusion of personality conflicts. Activities in these sessions focus on problem solving, dealing with stress, and tools to better understand the culture of the workplace.
